This board plugs between the MegaSquirt main board and the MS II (or MS1) CPU to provide additional I/O capabilities. It uses the MC68HC908GP32 processor, which is set up to share inputs with the main CPU. In addition to the shared inputs, the board provides 4 opto-isolated inputs, 2 non-isolated inputs, 6 buffered logic outputs, and 1 PWM buffered output.

Surface mount construction is used for most of the parts to maintain a low profile.
