The v3.0 MegaSquirt builds on the success of the earlier v2.2 version and adds a number of useful features.
- Improved flyback circuit protects the injector drivers when using low impedance injectors
- Current limiting for injector drivers provides additional protection
- VR sensor amplifier increases options for sensing ignition events
- Direct coil driver eliminates the need for an external coil driver when running in fuel and ignition mode.
The standard MAP sensor works with normally aspirated engines and applications up to 21 psig of boost for turbocharged engines. The optional 3 bar sensor is useful up to 29.4 psig.
